Dunwoody Service Unit Traditional Events
Kidnap Breakfast Wake your girls up early on a
Saturday for a morning filled with fun and games.
Activities may include singing, crafts, skits, and of course, breakfast!
Everyone wears their pjs!
Ornament Extravaganza Girls make and take home
cute holiday ornaments. Typically
held in November or early December.
A holiday favorite!
Brownie Blast Come have a blast at a Brownie
sleepover! This event is for
Brownies only where troops can come together to earn some new Try-Its, sing
songs and have a fun slumber party!
Girl Scout Sunday/Girl
Scout Sabbath This is a day when churches and
synagogues recognize Girl Scouts at their services.
Girls are encouraged to wear their uniforms to services.
These events are usually held the Sunday before or the Saturday following
March 12th - the Birthday of Girl Scouts.
Father-Daughter Sock
Hop Girls grab their Dads for a night that will knock
their socks off! This event is
usually held in March on a Saturday night.
Girls and Dads wear 50s attire.
